Application

Cleanse the face, neck and décolleté as usual. 1–2 times a week, gently sweep a pad over the face. Please make sure to avoid the eye and mouth area. Use a new pad for the neck and décolleté. A slight tingling sensation is normal. Close the jar tightly after each use. Allow to take effect for 5–10 minutes. For best results, complete the routine with DOCTOR BABOR The Cure Cream or your regular daytime skincare product. If you use the pads in the morning, we highly recommend applying sunscreen throughout the day.

Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with a potent exfoliating effect that removes dead skin cells from the top layer of the skin, promoting the skin’s natural regeneration processes for a smoother, more radiant complexion. Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of all AHAs, allowing it to penetrate particularly deeply into the skin and unleash its cell-regenerating effect, which can improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. At the same time, glycolic acid helps balance skin imperfections and refine enlarged pores for an overall more even complexion.
Citric acid is also an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), with a gentle exfoliating effect. Removing dead skin cells promotes natural skin regeneration and improves the overall appearance of the skin. This gentle antioxidant can help protect the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals by neutralizing them, thus promoting a smoother appearance.
Like glycolic and citric acid, lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), but with a gentler exfoliating effect. Due to its larger molecular size, lactic acid penetrates the skin more slowly and therefore provides milder exfoliation. Its moisturizing properties boost the skin’s suppleness. At the same time, it can stimulate collagen production, which helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and makes the skin look firmer and more youthful.
