Application

Apply morning and evening after cleansing to the face, neck and décolleté, preferably after DOCTOR BABOR Hydro Filler Serum or 10D Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule Serum Concentrate. Lightly massage into the skin.

Main active ingredients

The incomparable composition of low to high molecular weight hyaluronic acids achieves an intensive, immediate and long-term moisturizing effect thanks to the broad size spectrum it covers. Biotechnologically derived low-molecular hyaluronic acid penetrates the skin and promotes moisture absorption and retention at different epidermal levels, improving skin elasticity and firmness. The additional high-performance hyaluronic acid with a broad spectrum of molecular lengths ensures rapid moisturization of the epidermis and thus achieves immediate anti-aging effects. The skin immediately appears plumper and smoother and the depth of wrinkles appears reduced. In addition, the skin's protective barrier is strengthened and the skin penetration of other lipophilic and hydrophilic active ingredients is improved so that they can develop their full effect.

The polyglutamic acid (0.5%) contained, also known as PGA, is a natural polymer obtained by fermenting soybeans in a biotechnological process. It is characterized by its extraordinary effect as a humectant in the skin. Polyglutamic acid forms a protective film on the surface of the skin to minimize moisture loss and increase the skin's ability to retain moisture (depot effect). Thanks to these water-binding properties, PGA can store up to four times more moisture than hyaluronic acid, as proven in scientific studies. This immediately makes the skin appear smoother and more elastic. In addition, PGA can inhibit the activity of the enzyme hyaluronidase, which reduces the natural hyaluronic acid content, and thus stabilize and increase the hyaluronic acid content in the skin. The combination of both active ingredients therefore has a synergistic moisturizing effect. PGA also stimulates the Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) and increases their own production in order to improve the skin's own hyaluronic acid synthesis.

With age and under the influence of harmful environmental factors, the skin loses its ability to synthesize hyaluronic acid itself. To counteract this process, which can begin as early as the age of twenty, the powerful peptide in the extracellular matrix stimulates the skin's own synthesis of hyaluronan to increase tissue firmness. It also boosts the production of essential proteins that strengthen collagen fibers, resulting in visibly firmer, plumper and more contoured skin.

3D Xylitol derivative, a multifunctional humectant made from natural sugar compounds, acts as a protective shield against dehydration: it stimulates the formation of the body's own aquaporins (membrane proteins), which form channels in the cell membrane to enable the transport of water through the cells. This sustainably optimizes water circulation and moisture distribution in the skin and maintains the optimum water content inside the cell. In addition, the derivative stimulates the synthesis of essential lipids (ceramides) and hyaluronic acid, which strengthens the skin's protective barrier and improves its ability to retain moisture. In this way, feelings of dryness are alleviated and the skin appears plumper and fresher.
