Application

Morning and/or evening after cleansing, apply to a cotton pad and spread over the face, neck and décolletage until the skin feels well moistened. Leave on, then apply your usual care products.

Main active ingredients

Postbiotic ferments are at the heart of every MICROBIOMIC formulation.
To counteract skin dehydration, postbiotics obtained from controlled biofermented yeast extract stimulate the synthesis of lipids in the epidermis, thereby improving the barrier function and strengthening the skin's defences. In doing so, they restore the skin's balance.

Niacinamide is a vitamin B3 derivative that supports the skin's own collagen synthesis, strengthens the skin barrier, stimulates regeneration and counteracts fine lines and wrinkles. At the same time, it regulates sebum production and makes enlarged pores appear smaller.

The extract obtained from a wild pistachio tree on the Greek island of Chios was already widely used in ancient times as a remedy against skin inflammation. It helps to regulate sebum and combats unwanted shine, restoring the skin's natural balance. Thanks to its astringent effect, it also reduces impurities, minimises visible pores and gives the skin an overall finer, more matte appearance.

Secondary active ingredients

The aloe vera in the formula has a very long tradition as a medicinal plant and has been used for centuries to treat burns, wounds, sunburn and other topical skin complaints. This succulent, native to places with hot and dry climates, is considered to have moisturising and soothing properties. Particularly dry skin benefits from this plant, as it retains moisture in the skin for longer, leaving it feeling plump and hydrated with a pleasant sense of freshness.

Witch hazel, also known as Hamamelis, is another medicinal plant. Its tannins are crucial for wound healing because they have an astringent and anti-inflammatory effect. Witch hazel extract improves the appearance of dry skin, helps to promote the healing of superficial skin irritations and restores the skin's suppleness.

Sage extract is best known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Due to its high calcium and vitamin A content, it is said to have cell-renewing and circulation-boosting properties, which helps to counteract fine lines and wrinkles on the face. In addition, sage has been praised for centuries for its antiseptic properties. The ursolic acid responsible for this effect thoroughly cleanses the skin.

The rosemary oil it contains is particularly valued for its nutrient content and antioxidant effect. It protects against oxidative stress caused by negative environmental influences and helps to combat skin damage caused by free radicals.

Glycerin's moisturising properties make the skin look smoother and softer. Intense, lasting hydration reduces dryness and fine lines, giving the complexion an instantly revitalised and plumper appearance. At the same time, a protective barrier forms on the skin's surface to shield it from external influences and reduce moisture loss.
