Application

In the morning and/or evening, put the gel in the palm of your hand and lather with some water. Apply the foam to dry skin on the face, neck and décolleté. Moisten your fingertips and work the cleanser into a lather in circular motions. Avoid the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Afterwards, apply the DOCTOR BABOR Clarifying Complexion Perfecting Serum and the DOCTOR BABOR Clarifying Blemish Reducing Cream as a finishing treatment. The DOCTOR BABOR Impurity Spot Treatment is recommended to treat breakouts.

Main active ingredients

With a 0.5% concentration of salicylic acid, the Daily Blemish Control Cleansing Gel is ideal for the daily cleansing of acne-prone skin. The lipophilic molecular structure of this deep-acting beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) makes it fat-soluble, enabling it to efficiently dissolve sebum and dead skin cells. With this unique mode of action, salicylic acid cleanses the pores thoroughly and prevents them from clogging, which reduces the appearance of blemishes such as blackheads and pimples. Salicylic acid also helps soothe irritated skin, reduce redness and swelling, and minimize existing blemishes.
As a natural humectant, panthenol hydrates the skin by collecting the moisture stored in the skin, making it possible for the skin to hydrate itself from within. In addition, panthenol strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier, thereby helping to prevent moisture loss. As a protective agent, panthenol effectively reduces itching and skin irritation caused by external influences.

Secondary active ingredients

Glycerine has moisturizing properties, so it can help retain more moisture in the skin and protect it from drying out during cleansing. Its soothing properties help minimize redness, especially in skin prone to blemishes and breakouts. Glycerine also acts as a type of protection for the skin and supports an intact skin barrier.
