Main active ingredients

To optimally strengthen stressed skin again, the active-ingredient complex of Complex C Cream focuses primarily on reinforcing the skin’s own protective functions and regeneration processes. UVA radiation is probably the most prominent stress factor for the skin, since it is present year-round and promotes skin ageing. The Alpine stem cells in Complex C Cream penetrate deep into the skin and effectively protect the DNA of skin cells from this damage and from premature environment-induced skin ageing, especially that caused by UVA rays. In addition, the stem cells protect against free radicals. Vitamin C is rightly considered a true powerhouse active ingredient and is therefore used specifically in Complex C Cream. It not only helps the skin sustainably strengthen its innate defences, but also neutralises free radicals and reduces damage to skin cells from external influences. Inside the skin cell, vitamin C also promotes regeneration processes and prevents premature skin ageing. The anti-ageing effect of Complex C Cream is further enhanced by the vitamin A it contains. It stimulates skin cell renewal and supports skin regeneration, thereby counteracting the ageing process. The active-ingredient complex also contains vitamin F, which is particularly rich in linoleic acid. This active ingredient strengthens the skin’s protective lipid barrier and helps protect the skin against negative environmental influences, so the skin stays healthy and its functions remain intact. To allow the active ingredients of Complex C Cream to work in a targeted way, the cream contains OsmoTec as an additional care boost. It improves the skin’s uptake of the active ingredients and thus ensures the cream’s ideal mode of action.

Secondary active ingredients

To reactivate and revitalise stressed skin, Complex C Cream primarily promotes the skin’s protective functions. In addition, its active-ingredient complex is enriched with vitamin E, which acts as a radical scavenger and supports skin protection. Sesame and macadamia oils have a particularly nourishing effect on the lipid barrier, while panthenol soothes and calms the skin.
