Application

After cleansing, apply the contents of one 2 ml ampoule to the face, neck and décolleté once a day for 7 days. Massage into the skin with light fingertip pressure. To open, shake the ampoule and cover its neck with the enclosed ampoule opener. Hold the ampoule by the opener and snap it open at the black ring with a quick movement. Then ideally follow with DOCTOR BABOR REGENERATION The Cure Cream or any other BABOR skincare product. To address further skin needs within the 7 days, we recommend combining it with other Ampoule Serum Concentrates.

Main active ingredients

Niacinamides, also known as vitamin B3 or nicotinamide, help to strengthen the skin barrier by increasing the production of ceramides. This protects the skin from moisture loss and environmental stress. Niacinamide is also known to reduce hyperpigmentation and even out skin tone by inhibiting melanin production. It also stimulates collagen production to minimise wrinkles and lines for an all-round more harmonious complexion.

Ceramides are a natural component of the skin and diminish over time. This weakens the skin barrier and makes the skin more susceptible to external sources of irritation. The ceramide complex in this formula has a significant protective function: it supplies the skin with essential elements and promotes cell renewal. This supports the restoration and maintenance of an intact barrier function. Ceramides also bind water, which keeps moisture levels balanced and protects against transepidermal water loss.

Hydrolysed lupin protein consists of 100% sweet white lupin peptides from lupins sustainably cultivated in France. It supports the synthesis of various collagen types, including type 1 and type 3 collagen, which play an essential role in regenerating particularly stressed skin. At the same time, it protects against glycation, the saccharification and degradation of collagen. This helps to keep the skin plump, firm and elastic.

Low- to high-molecular hyaluronic acids provide an intensive, immediate and long-term moisturising effect. Thanks to the range of molecular sizes they cover, they strengthen the body's own hydration mechanisms. The hyaluronic acids deliver immediate hydration to different layers of the epidermis and form a moisturising film on the skin's surface. As a result, the skin immediately appears plumper and is protected against moisture loss through evaporation and other osmotic processes. Moisture is retained in the skin for a long time, transepidermal water loss (TEWL) is reduced and the moisture balance is sustainably optimised.

As a natural humectant, panthenol intensively moisturises the skin by attracting moisture and storing it in the skin, enabling self-hydration from within. Panthenol also strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier, helping to counteract moisture loss. As a protective agent, panthenol effectively reduces itching and skin irritation caused by external influences.
