Main active ingredients

The ideally coordinated composition of low- to high-molecular hyaluronic acid types creates an intensive, immediate and long-lasting moisturizing effect and, through the full size spectrum it covers, strengthens the body's own hydration mechanisms. Very low-molecular hyaluronic acid penetrates deep into the skin and promotes moisture absorption and binding at different epidermal levels, improving skin elasticity and firmness. Medium- and high-molecular hyaluronic acids ensure immediate hydration of the epidermis and form a moisturizing film on the skin surface. This makes the skin appear immediately plumper and protects it from moisture loss through evaporation and other osmotic processes. Moisture is stored long-term in the skin, transepidermal water loss (TEWL) is reduced, and the balance of moisture content is sustainably optimized.
The polyglutamic acid (0.5%), also known as PGA, is a natural polymer obtained through a biotechnological process by fermenting soybeans. It is distinguished by its exceptional moisturizing effect in the skin. Polyglutamic acid forms a protective film on the skin surface to minimize moisture loss and increase the skin's ability to store moisture (depot effect). Thanks to these water-binding properties, PGA, as proven in scientific studies, can store up to four times more moisture than hyaluronic acid. This makes the skin appear immediately smoother and more elastic. Furthermore, PGA can inhibit the activity of the enzyme hyaluronidase, which reduces the natural hyaluronic acid content, thus stabilizing and increasing the hyaluronic acid content in the skin. The combination of both active substances therefore shows a synergistic moisturizing effect. Additionally, PGA stimulates the Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) and increases their production to improve the skin's own hyaluronic acid synthesis.
With age and under the influence of harmful environmental factors, the skin loses its ability to synthesize hyaluronic acid on its own. To counteract this process, which can begin as early as the age of twenty, the powerful peptide in the extracellular matrix stimulates the skin's own synthesis of hyaluronan to increase tissue firmness. Additionally, it boosts the production of essential proteins that strengthen collagen fibers, resulting in visibly firmer, plumper and more contoured skin.
3D xylitol derivative, a multifunctional moisturizing agent from natural sugar compounds, acts as a protective shield against dehydration: it stimulates the formation of the body's own aquaporins (membrane proteins), which form channels in the cell membrane that allow water to be transported through the cells. This sustainably optimizes water circulation and moisture distribution in the skin and maintains the optimal water content within the cell. Additionally, the derivative stimulates the synthesis of essential lipids (ceramides) and hyaluronic acid, strengthening the skin barrier and improving its ability to store moisture. In this way, feelings of dryness are alleviated, and the skin appears plumper and fresher.

Secondary active ingredients

The sustainably sourced aloe moss extract activates cell-to-cell communication and optimally balances moisture distribution in the skin. Additionally, it reduces signs of skin aging and has soothing and regenerating properties. A blend of humectants optimizes the skin's moisture level by attracting and binding water and further strengthens the skin barrier. By mimicking the skin's natural moisture elements, it maintains the moisture balance and effectively stores moisture in the upper layers of the skin. Furthermore, it helps the skin remain supple, soft and resilient to external influences.
