Application

Spread on the face, neck and décolleté, preferably in the evening after cleansing with the DOCTOR BABOR Refining Cleansing Oil Balm. Gently massage into the skin. Avoid the eye and lip area.
For first-time application: use the cream 2x weekly for the first 2 weeks. If it is well tolerated, increase the application frequency.

Warnings

The triple pro-retinol complex, consisting of retinyl palmitate, encapsulated retinol and bakuchiol, activates the skin’s regeneration processes and is particularly notable for its strong antioxidant properties:
Retinyl palmitate is classified as a stable form of vitamin A. Its antioxidant properties help protect the skin from harmful environmental impact such as UV radiation and pollution. This antioxidant effect helps reduce oxidative damage that can lead to premature skin aging. Retinyl palmitate also softens hyperpigmentation by supporting the breakdown of melanin and optimizing the distribution of pigment cells in the skin. This leads to a more balanced skin tone and fewer visible age spots and hyperpigmentation. By stimulating cell regeneration and collagen production, it can also improve skin texture. Bakuchiol is a vegan pro-retinol extracted from the seeds of the Indian babchi plant (Psoralea corylifolia). Known for its antioxidant properties, it completes the triple-action skin regeneration complex. As a natural anti-aging active, bakuchiol is considered a gentler alternative to retinol that is highly effective and well tolerated. Bakuchiol helps optimize the skin’s appearance. It improves the skin’s elasticity and resilience and produces a radiant complexion. As a powerful antioxidant, it protects the skin from free radicals. At the same time, it soothes the skin.

Secondary active ingredients

Niacinamide (5% content), also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinamide, is a multifunctional, well-tolerated active ingredient that has been shown to reduce the formation of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and other visible signs of premature skin aging while strengthening the skin barrier. In addition, it visibly minimizes enlarged pores and helps protect the skin from moisture loss and dehydration.
